5th GRADE
1st, 2nd and 3rd semester:
With the help of a map and their imagination, the children walk on Via Egnatia to find the bridges that connected Rome with Byzantium and Constantinople, or the Roman with the Byzantine Empire.
On their route they will compose everyday stories of certain ages, triggered by functional objects of a civilization that survived for over 1.000 years!
The objects of the investigation game for the teams are chosen exhibits of the renovated Athens Byzantine Museum.
The program lasts 2 ½ - 3 hours
Programs outside Attica:
«“Who stole Porphyra?”», daily excursion to Mistras.
This is a daily school excursion. It is a treasure hunt and can be the culmination or epilogue of the programs in Athens.
